Designed, installed, repaired and finished hardwood floors according to customer specifications as owner of Oakwood Hardwood Floors. Installed unfinished and prefinished wood floors, provided hardwood floor repair and integration into existing floors, custom borders and designs. As owner of Oakwood Hardwood Floors for 9 years, I ran the daily aspect of the business in addition to performing the work, including maintaining equipment, sourcing supplies, hiring and training employees, managing two crews (with two floor mechanics per crew), managing transportation of personnel and equipment, and hazardous materials management.
