Retro Integrated Stereo Amplifier

I designed, fabricated, and built this custom integrated stereo amplifier in retro style for personal use. Parts and assembly of the final concept were modeled in SolidWoks CAD design software. This project was made entirely from parts I had on hand. The design profile is based on a vintage Lafayette shortwave receiver, of which the chassis and cover were used. The front and back plate were cut from parts of a metal desk. The faceplate was molded with epoxy resin. The electronics came from old computers and car audio equipment. For a vintage touch, I added three warm colored LED lights to simulate the glow of vacuum tubes.
